Tally Your Marks

The Ultimate Score Calculator & Average Finder

Whether you are a high school student compiling your board exam marks, a college student working out your semester grades, or just trying to calculate your overall performance, our score calculator is designed for flexibility. It removes the hassle of manual math and spreadsheet errors.

How the Average Finder Works

Our tool doubles as an efficient average finder. It dynamically takes the number of subjects you've added (whether it's 5 standard subjects or 8 college electives) and computes the mean score obtained per subject. This is particularly useful when universities require an aggregate average rather than a straight percentage for admissions.

Need to convert these scores for competitive exams? A solid academic percentage is vital. If you are preparing for your engineering or management entrances, remember to check out our JEE Percentile Predictor and CAT Percentile Predictor to see where your academics can take you!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change the maximum marks per subject?
Yes! While the default maximum marks are set to 100, you can easily edit the "Max Marks" field for each individual subject. This is perfect for practical exams (out of 30 or 50) or specialized papers (out of 70 or 80).
What is the difference between Percentage and Average?
Percentage is calculated as (Total Marks Obtained / Total Maximum Marks) × 100. It gives you a score out of a base of 100. The Average Finder computes the mean by dividing the Total Marks Obtained by the Number of Subjects. If all subjects are out of 100, your average and percentage will be exactly the same number.
Is there a limit to how many subjects I can add?
Practically, no. You can keep clicking "Add Another Subject" to include as many courses as you have in your curriculum. The calculator will automatically adjust the final totals and averages dynamically.
